IKEA Pittsburgh Home Shopping service is available for in-stock merchandise only. All orders are subject to delivery charges and handling fees. We offer three easy methods of delivery: ground shipping, freight and home delivery. Delivery rates are based on zip code and merchandise weight. Handling fees are based on merchandise total. Minimum turnaround time for most orders, 48 hours. For large orders, freight, or kitchen orders, please check with a Home Shopping Sales Representative as turn-around times will vary.

Q. How does Home Shopping work?

A. Home Shopping is a convenient service offered by IKEA Pittsburgh for customers who want the convenience of shopping from home. Customers can select the products they wish to order at their leisure before contacting a Home Shopping representative to place an order. Our representatives will then confirm that the items are in-stock in the store. Customers may arrange to pick the items up in the store, utilize our home delivery system or, for smaller items, we can offer Fedex ground shipping right to your door. Once all the details have been collected, a Home Shopping Sales Representative will contact you for payment information and arrange for delivery.


Q. What information do I need to place an order?

A. When preparing a Home Shopping order, make sure you provide the following:

• contact number and email for correspondence

• Address including zip code in which the merchandise will be sent (please note if business or residential)

• name or article number of all items you wish to purchase

• desired color/finish

Having this information handy will help to expedite your ordering process.


Q. Can I place an order online?

A. To place an order online, use the “save to list” button provided on IKEA.com when choosing the products you would like to order. Check to make sure that the products you wish to order are available at IKEA Pittsburgh by selecting the Pittsburgh location in the pull down list. After you have chosen all of your items, click “My shopping list” in the upper right of the page. Click “Email List” and email your list to pittsburghphoneorder@ikea.com. Please include your name, street address with zip code (please note if business or residential) and contact phone number in the body of the email. A Home Shopping Sales Representative will call you to confirm your order and shipping costs.


Q. What are the advantages of Home Shopping ?

A. Home Shopping allows customers who are unable to make it into the IKEA Pittsburgh store to conveniently shop from their home or office. By ordering directly from the IKEA Pittsburgh Home Shopping service customers receive access to any of the more than 7,000 products currently in-stock at the IKEA Pittsburgh store.


Q. Is there a charge for using Home Shopping?

A. A nominal processing/handling fee is assessed based on your merchandise total. This covers the cost of our staff to select, pack, and ship your order.

• Orders up to $100.00 the handling fee will be just $10.00

• Orders up to $100.01 - $500 the handling fee will be just $15.00

• Orders up to $500.01 - $1000 the handling fee will be just $20.00

• 3% of order total for orders more than $1000.000
